If you have planned to come to visit Glasgow and maybe rent a car to be clever and try to make your life easier, you are wrong!! Glasgow road system is absolutely a mess!
First the traffic lights!! I think they are the ones that last longer in the world!!! It’s better that you put some emergency food in your car and also bring a book if you have planned to go to the city centre. Don’t even think to be late, if you are late just relax and call to pospone your appointment, there’s no way to get there on time.
Second the one way system in the centre. You can have satnav and maps, you’ll still get at least one road wrong. It’s crazy absolutely crazy. Now I feel a little bit more confident about it but I think for tourists it will be an absolute nightmare.
And at the end the RAIN. Scotland is famous for the rain, and when it rains everyone uses the car so the traffic becomes just madness!!!!
Ok that was just a rant about Glasgow’s traffic, I still like Scotland though

I just came back from Italy! Last weekend I went to my home City in Italy to say hello to my family and all of my friends. I hadn’t been back since last July and it was really nice, even if it was only for a short period of time ( 48 hours
).
First night I had a BIG FAT ITALIAN dinner with all my family, risotto, pasta, salame, cheese and a lot of other stuff, DELICIOUS!!! My niece and nephews were there, screaming, crying and playing around, and it was difficult to get used to it but they are hilarious!!!
Then after dinner I just collapsed in bed til the next day.
On Saturday me and my sister went to visit my aunt and uncle to say hello and show them my scottish photos. They made us a good cup of coffee and we had a laugh together, really a lovely time. After that I came back home to wait for my brother and his family to say goodbye cuz I couldn’t see them again before I left.
In the late afternoon I arranged to meet TIZIO at our wonderful comic shop VERONA FUMETTI where we had a lot of fun just saying stupid things and joking with the owner ( the RED! ). So there was me, Tizio, Ricky and AMMARCOPALERMO. Then Tizio had to go to a party on Lake Garda so I said goodbye to him and the rest of us went for an APERITIVO (Povca Tvoia!). We walked around for a while because AMMARCOPALERMO had a great idea, go to a new Bar but he couldn’t remember where it was, so after a phone call and after finding the new bar we discovered that it was closeD…….. so then we headed to Le Cantine Dell’Arena a really really nice bar just in front of the most popular monument of Verona, L’ARENA. the Bar is really cool, it’s underground and beautiful with old vaults and arcs and good music. We had AMARONE wine and they gave us POLENTA E SALAME ( it’s a typical dish from Verona and it’s utterly delicious!!) just STUNNING. Ah yes there I discovered that I hadn’t set my clock to the local time… so when Ricky asked me what time it was I said 17:40 when it was 18:40 instead!! it was just hilarious because he had to pick up his girlfriend at about 19:30 but we were just relaxing because he thought we were really early
sorry Ricky!!
In the Evening we went to Pizzeria San Matteo, where I had a really nice Pizza. There TOPO and Marco joined us with his girlfriend and also his brother plus some of his friends. My sister and Luca, his husband, were there and we spent a relaxing evening together.
The next day I flew back to my new home city, Glasgow were my lovely girlfriend was waiting for me
btw Congratulation JOSH and OUDRE and MARK and JENNIFER cuz they are getting married!!!!!!!!
