I was really surprised when a friend of mine explained to me the meaning of NED. It means “not educated delinquent” and it’s just an adjective to describe a rude, often drunk and really aggressive person. I didn’t believe him but then I met quiet a lot of them on the streets, on the buses, and playing football. Oh yes playing football! I played in a tournament with some of my colleagues and “oh my god” , the language ( I didn’t understand most of it cuz they had really strong scottish accentS) was just terrible I think I’ve never heard in my life the F word like that day. Everything was F..king something, like “F..king brilliant”, “F..king F..k” it was like being in a Gordon Ramsay program!! And soon I started using it myself!!! (oh no I’m becoming a ned!!!!!).
But ok the language wasn’t the only bad thing….. I’m from Italy where football is the most important thing after Pizza, and I was shocked after the first match. Here in Scotland it’s not football – it’s trying to show your strength without any care for the ball. Really, they weren’t even looking at the ball, they just waited for you to either push or kick you or both! Ok I sound like a girl, scared by physical contact, but I mean , we were playing near a pub on Sunday afternoon in the middle of nowhere so why are you trying to break my legs? just enjoy!
Btw it didn’t last long since the first fight started….. two guys started punching each other because one kicked the other….. I remember that kind of episode happening at nursery school…. yes, like kids! But it’s not really strange in the UK where on the telly you can watch programs about Police trying to stop fights on the streets.
Unfortunately this problem is all over the UK , every day you hear on the news about knife crime, gangs, and fights. It’s a shame because I find Scotland a really beautiful place with a lot of friendly and open minded people, and just because of some genuinely stupid ones it is corrupting its reputation.

Tonight I made a great discovery, I found a noodle bar in Glasgow where they do RAMEN!!!!
The first and last time that I ate RAMEN was in Japan 4 years ago and it was f..king DELICIOUS!! But now, after tonight ’s discovery, my pain has reached its end 
it’s just incredible because I wouldn’t have thought that in Scotland, I mean in SCOTLAND, I could find the food of my life!
Now I have to go there at least once a month! the chain Restaurant is WAGAMAMA and it’s just in the centre of Glasgow. RAMEN there is delicious and you can also find other Japanese dishes, and it’s not expensive at all.
ok I stop now otherwise I have to go back and have another portion!

YEAHHH!!!! We’ve just moved in the new house and, as normal, we’ve been working on it since we got in…. we are absolutely exhausted! Btw we are really excited and we’ve already started thinking about rennovating.
We also have our own garden where we are going to have some parties!!

Hi Everybody!! Happy new Year!!
I spent my first and last new year like an Edinburgh citizen and it was really good!!
They closed Princes Street and some other city centre areas, lots of music ( like 3 stages ) and lots of drunk people
Very very good new year evening, also cuz the buses were free
I really recommend you spend one Hogmanay in your life in EDINBURGH.
Now back to work for an exciting 2008!!!
ah, on the 18th of January we are going to move to Glasgow, looking forward for it!!!!
